For me, acting and photography have a similar process. In both disciplines I want to make a connection with the other person and really see them, so it was a short step from being in front of the camera to being behind it. And it certainly has helped to have worked with artists like Ridley Scott, Damian Lewis, Michael Fassbender, Ellen Burstyn and Darius Wolskietc on a film set.

I like portraits that have a stripped back quality and an openness. And on productions I can immerse myself into a set in a discreet way, often resulting in more intimate photographs as well as the more commercial ones needed.

Photography always accompanied me throughout my life and acting career, and now is the main focus in my life. Working with a myriad of lighting designers, directors and cameramen on film was a perfect education in photography in terms of equipment, light and composition. When I wasn’t in front of the camera I could often be found taking photographs of the actors on set.

It is invaluable that I know what it feels like to be in front of the camera. Now that I am behind the camera I can help the person in front of the lens to relax, creating a fun and enjoyable experience. I am always looking for that one moment that somehow encapsulates a person, reveals something about them but also lends a bit of mystery.

If you would like me to contact you please fill in the form and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from you.
